J. D. Ralphs is a native of rural Northern California, he’s lived in El Dorado, Sacramento and Amador counties. As a youth he pursued his photography amongst his other interests, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and reading classic literature. He holds a B.S. in Psychology from Brigham Young University – Idaho, an A.A. in Social Science from Cosumnes River College, and both an A.A. and A.S. in General Education/Transfer & Science from Folsom Lake College. His career has spanned from radio broadcasting to education.
Currently J. D. Ralphs is pursuing photography as a hobbyist honing his skills, traveling and enjoying every second of it. Landscapes are his preferred subject, occasionally spreading to cityscapes, floral subjects, and the dilapidated structures.
